Description
This interdisciplinary project aims to revolutionize neuroprosthetic design by integrating cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) dynamics modeling with AI-driven personalization. The research assistant will:
- Develop CFD models of CSF flow around neural implant geometries
- Analyze patient-specific anatomical data from MRI/CT scans
- Apply machine learning to optimize implant shape and placement
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons and bioengineers for clinical translation
Candidates should have a background in biomedical or mechanical engineering, with experience in CFD, medical imaging, and data analysis. A passion for translational research and human-centered design is highly encouraged.
